And for us, a happy start of the New Year it is! Quite a milestone lies ahead: on Wednesday 18 January we will play at Het Concertgebouw in Amsterdam! A lunchtime concert in the beautiful Recital Hall, of which is whispered that even the softest notes, so delicately played, are perfectly clear.
"Can't wait!" we shout out every day, not quite so delicately. In Het Concertgebouw we will play a programme partly on 2 piano's, a.o. the cool but sizzling Concertino by Shostakovich. Here you can find more information and the full programme: www.concertgebouw.nl. Would you like to come and listen (we'd like that!), make sure to be on time because these lunchtime concerts are popular and tickets are limited... Tickets are available at the ticket office in the entry hall from 11.30h on.
But first: on Friday the 13th of January we will give a concert in Leeuwarden. On this misfortunate day of doom we will boldy proclaim evil while playing Saint-Saëns' Danse Macabre - but we promise we will make things right by playing a set of Ave Maria's and other wonderful music by for instance Rachmaninov and Liszt.
A very happy 2017 to all of you, with lots of music and love!
